Q [Is it safe to use a credit card on the Internet?]

A It's a Mall World runs on a secure server utilizing the latest in security technology. This server allows our shopping systems to "go secure" whenever any sensitive information will be exchanged between your computer and ours. In order to assure that data exchanged over this secure connection is encrypted, you must be using a browser that supports SSL (Secure Socket Layer) transmission. Most people on the Internet use one of two browsers, either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Both of these support SSL. If you do not have one of these they are simple to get and free of charge.

When you arrive on a page that requests credit card or other personal information using one of the above browsers, you will notice that our system automatically enters its secure mode. If you are using the Netscape Navigator browser, the lower left-hand corner of your browser window will show on a non-secure page and on a secure page. If you are using the Microsoft Explorer browser, the lower right-hand corner of your browser window will show nothing on a non secure page and on a secure page.
